Start with the kind of decision in front of you. The Decision Fieldbook pairs a model for seeing the situation clearly with a system for acting on it, such as a pre-mortem for the risks you have not yet considered. Each pairing sets out its steps, its limits and the sources behind it, and a decision sheet keeps a record you can come back to.

Choose from eight kinds of decision, such as a choice that is hard to reverse or whether to stop something, and see the pairings that fit.

Ten pairings, each with a procedure to follow, the ways it fails, its limits and a trail back to its sources.

## Keep a decision sheet

Record your decision, your confidence and the evidence that should trigger a review. The sheet stays in your browser and can add the review date to your calendar.

The Decision Fieldbook is in development and has not been published. Get in touch if you would like to read an early version.

## Good to know

Its sources are still being checked, and each entry states how strong its evidence is. Decision sheets are stored in your browser, not sent anywhere.
